Dr. Shirley Yen, Brown University Warren Alpert School of Medicine (2014-present)
Recruit, assess, and retain participants for a NIMH-funded R34 grant examining a novel text messaging intervention to increase positive emotions in adolescents recently hospitalized for suicidality. Maintain study database of over 50 participants. Conduct literature reviews on adolescent suicidality and psychosis measurement. 

Dr. Yovanska Duarté-Vélez, Instituto de Investigación Psicológica (2014-present)
Transcribe and thematically code interviews with therapists concerning cultural considerations in therapy with Latina/o populations, to aid in tailoring of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicidal Latino/a Adolescents. Administer E-Prime cognitive tasks Prepare Institution Review Board submissions and maintain PHI regulations. 

Dr. Jennifer E. Johnson, Brown University Warren Alpert School of Medicine (2012-14)

Recruited participants for a NIMH-funded randomized trial evaluating the effectiveness of interpersonal psychotherapy among prisoners with major depressive disorder. Interviewed corrections stakeholders about attitudes towards evidence-based practices, in order to develop strategic implementation plans. Extracted correctional medical records data for implementation and cost-effectiveness analyses.

Conducted an extensive literature review on cross-cultural and gender differences in experiences of social support, resulting in my senior thesis. Designed an online study to measure gender and cultural differences in social support seeking in response to interpersonal and academic stressors
