About Adam

I am a researcher and designer located in Providence, RI,  currently pursuing a master's of Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design.

In my design practice I synthesize my background in psychological research with design thinking and making to tackle some of the complex issues surrounding accessibility to mental health treatment, and understanding how we shape and form our identities and communities in an age driven by data.

Prior to RISD, I worked as a clinical research assistant in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, where managing two research studies evaluating treatments for suicidal adolescents: 1) a novel mindfulness intervention delivered via SMS text messaging, and 2) a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy tailored to Latin@ adolescents.
